Future Features

Are there plans for iLife integration?  Slides could go to iDVD, it would be nice to view some aspects of libraries in an iPhoto like way - perhaps Smart Export Libraries that would also be “fake” iPhoto albums.
There are now Applescripts Apple has developed to automate moving Aperture images into other iLife applications.  This seems to be a solution for now.  See the PMA 1.1 Updated Features section for more detail.

Aperture’s versioning capability seems naturally suited to migration to a multi-user, networked setting - are there plans to allow for something like a central Aperture server that multiple users could use at once?
Very distant if at all.  Too far out for that one!

Currently some EXIF and IPTC metadata from files are not seen, are there technical challenges around allowing an unfiltered view into RAW data?  Is it a usability issue?  Are there plans to open up editing of some or all EXIF data instead of locking it all down?
A partial response on editing EXIF - the general feeling seems to be that EXIF editing for values provided from the camera is too rare a need to allow for the danger of users messing it up.  Apple needs better and more practical editing example cases than the ones I could think up.
When asked about altering dates for values beyond just timezone shifts, Apple again said that was EXIF they did not want to modify, and that you’d have to use a third-party EXIF fixing utility to correct that.
